Accepted! Well conditionally!

I have been accepted to Capella University to start my PhD. I will be in the Human Services school with a concentration in Criminal Justice. I got the call yesterday afternoon from them letting me know that I can start classes, which I will do on August 7th. I will be in the introductory class for my school. I am excited and scared at the same time. Not sure what I will do, but I plan to make the most of it. They are to let me know soon what I will have to do to complete my doctorate. I cannot believe that I will in 3 years hopefully have a PhD and a Dr. before my name. Never thought that would happen.

Scotland the Brave!

Well I have been back around three weeks now from my mission trip to Scotland and boy do I miss the people over there. I really enjoyed my time over there and I hope they enjoyed having me. Let me tell you that if you get the chance to visit Scotland do not pass it up. Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries that I have ever had the opportunity to visit. I never been able to figure out how people can look around them and not know that there is a God. There is just no way that those places and things just happened by pure luck. God has blessed us so much with a wonderful world on which to live. Never take for granted that we are not here very long, but what a great place to live while here. Just imagine that if he provides a beautiful place for us to live temporarily, imagine what Heaven will be like. I hope to be more active on my blog this year. I will try to keep you updated on how my doctoral work is going along with the other things I have going on.
